Day 37

Day 37

We had a real nice dinner at Family's on Saturday night on our way down. The food there is really good and they quickly accommodated our roving caravan of 10. The coconut custard pie was a great ending to the meal even if it was a slight detour for my diet.

We didn't have to stand in the cold very long to see the lights as the line was relatively short compared to years past. We sat all the way in the back of the tram and treated everyone to a Dunnigan rendition of the 12 Days of Xmas.

On Sunday, I treated everyone to some Fractured Prune donuts. The donuts are made fresh and are warm when you eat them. They have a lot of really yummy specialty donuts and I think they were quite popular at the trailer. The donuts were only a pre-snack to our brunch trip to the Coach's Corner. They too were able to quickly accommodate our large group which I was very thankful for because they have great cream chipped beef. Again, another detour from my diet.

It was a great trip and I had a lot of fun with my family.
